Highridge United A were given something to smile about as their goalkeeper Beau Bridges netted in their match at Kingshead Lane. From a free-kick the Highridge No.1 launched the ball upfield, which landed behind the Cribbs defence before bouncing over the surprised keeper into the net. Sadly for Bridges and his side the unusual feat was far from enough to prevent the hosts tumbling to a 6-1 reverse at the hands of second-placed Cribbs B, who wasted no time atoning for their previous weekend?s 2-1 defeat by Mendip Broadwalk A.
