Highridge United bounced back determinedly from their 4-3 defeat by Lebeq seven days prior with a 1-0 home victory over Totterdown United. The winning goal arrived as early as seven minutes when a perfectly-flighted free-kick into the box by Harry Hocking was nodded down by Aaron Selby towards the far post, where Dan Elson met the ball with a diving header into the net. In an entertaining contest, Selby almost added a second soon after as he was through on goal, only for his lobbed effort to hit the bar before being gathered by the Totterdown keeper. While Totterdown went on to rattle the bar themselves, Highridge had more chances which fell to Elson, while the Totterdown keeper produced some timely saves to keep his team in the contest.
