Highridge United Reserves smashed Greyfriars Athletic ‘A’ 5-0 as they moved to the summit of the Division 4 table. Both Stuart Wilson and Lewis Rudge recorded two goals and Patrick McCarthy provided the coup de grace to a highly impressive afternoon for the title contenders, who now hold a slender two point lead over Shaftesbury Reserves. Athletic, meanwhile, stay 9th. Elsewhere in Division 4 there was a 10 goal marathon in the game between Bradley Stoke Town Reserves and Fishponds Athletic. Just four points off the top at the start of the day the match presented the perfect opportunity for Fishponds to fully establish themselves as title contenders. Their hope was short lived. While Amir Yasdi, Matthew Dark and Dean Riddler all scored, it was a Leon Councell hat trick which catapulted Stoke Town to an astonishing 7-3 victory.
