BENDIX returned to winning form following their setback seven days prior by overcoming Highridge United Reserves 3-2 in a tense second division fixture at Lees Hill. The Kingswood side had been well beaten 4-1 on home soil by Horfield United the previous weekend, but they responded determinedly with Robbie Underwood, Paul Johnson and Jason Darlow strikes ensuring they remain third in the table. Dale Brine and Rob Wilshire efforts for Highridge meant a closely-fought contest went right to the wire.
